What a stunning set of coins Bungle i love how the frosted details pops off the mirrored finish behind and for a set thats 12 years old its in great condition you definitely got it for a good price,i would hold on to it until at least 2029 when the 60 year sets will be out it will be so sought after you will easily get your money back if you decide to sell i don’t think it will lose value at all.

The only downside Bungle is that The Royal Mint should have used another oxygen inert material for the surrounds inside each capsule. Surely they should know that when using silver the metal
reacts to oxygen and causes toning. Considering the original cost of this set, a basic error of using the wrong material is not acceptable in my view. The Royal Mint are making many mistakes over the last few years. Too many errors in the minting of the various different values, and yes I know the errors make our hobby more enjoyable & profitable but it should not happen. That’s my view anyways. I think you bought well and will show a good profit in the future if you ever decide to sell…..

Yeah you are right. I bought this a couple of months ago and thought there might have been some profit in it, but coin values have continued to drop so I would struggle to get my money back
Hopefully when things pick up, they may increase to £900ish 🙏🏻
